All of one crew had a police background and flew as "The Three Cops" -- Bill Ricketts, Harold Egbert and Bill Cowan.

Cowan (shown at left), gunner for the Three Cops, eventually acquired Ricketts' much handed about motorcycle -- a valuable piece of transportation.
